Fringed black metallic leather XL tote
Not exactly subtle … but in a way you immediately forgive. MIOW ed.1 is a tote bag crafted from subtly shimmering black leather, defined by its generous volume and distinctive fringes that add movement even before you do. It has a relaxed edge and settles naturally into your look, more like a companion than a statement piece. An XL tote in black metallic leather that works effortlessly from morning to night, for everyday errands, late walks, or moments when you’re not quite ready to go home yet. It’s the kind of bag you reach for when nothing else feels quite right … uncomplicated, reliable, and easy to wear. A little indie, a little effortless, with just enough character to stand out.
Interior: Roomy enough for a 15” laptop, a water bottle, and daily essentials. The main compartment closes with a zipper and is left unlined on purpose. Inside, there’s a large zipped pocket for phone and wallet, plus two smaller zipped side pockets — one with an integrated key strap.
Ways to Wear: MIOW ed.1 comes with an adjustable strap that can be worn short or long over the shoulder. At its longest setting, it can also be worn crossbody. If the strap is removed, the carabiners can be clipped together so the bag can still be carried comfortably over the shoulder or by hand. Side leather loops allow you to attach accessories like X.LOMI ed.2 or X.LIO ed.1, as well as charms or chains — adding function without overcomplicating things.
Combinations: Works well with smaller INA KENT styles and accessories, especially X.LOMI ed.2, X.LIO ed.1, BAG CHARM ed.1–ed.4, and the BALL’N’CHAIN ed.1. Can also be worn with Strap TAO ed.1, Strap NOX ed.1 or the PROTECTOR KIT ed.1.

Our naturally tanned leather is refined in a multi-stage process with an ultra-thin foil, creating its characteristic subtle metallic sheen. Depending on the finish, the surface may appear more even, or the natural structure and texture of the leather may become more pronounced.
This style features fringes made from open-cut leather. The edges and reverse side are intentionally left in their natural state to preserve the leather’s softness and freedom of movement. Light abrasion may occur as a natural result of this construction.
We use only high-quality foils. However, foiled leather surfaces are more delicate than untreated ones – the metallic or foil coating may change or wear off with friction, moisture, or frequent use. Over time, the surface may become slightly matte, the leather base may become more visible, and the shimmering finish may soften. These changes are inherent to the material and occur naturally over time.
To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:
- Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for delicate foil finishes. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
- Avoid pulling or bending the fringes. For best results, store the piece loosely and without pressure to preserve its shape.
- Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the foil.
- Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – such exposure may cause the foil coating to fade or loosen.
- Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces, as even small scratches can be visible on foiled leather.
- Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for foiled or metallic leather – oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the surface.
- Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly noticeable on iridescent or two-tone finishes.
- For cleaning or in case of visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
