Leather crossbody bag in brown hues

EUR 225
Vegetable tanned Vegetable tanned

Simple and unlined lightweight brown leather crossbody bag with an embossed finish on a vegetable-tanned leather base and smooth brown leather. Comes with an adjustable vegetable-tanned strap. Inspired by MOONLIT ed.1, MOONLIT ed.2 comes with an additional zippered front pocket. Particularly versatile – due to the flexible carabiner rings it can be effortlessly transformed into a clutch or belt bag. Roomy enough for essentials and more.

Interior: Unlined. Roomy enough for your everyday essentials, half-litre bottle, folding umbrella and a 8'' tablet.

Ways to wear: Carry yours as a crossbody bag, shoulder bag, clutch or hip bag.

Combinations: Due to the carabiner rings, MOONLIT ed.2 can easily be combined with smaller INA KENT styles such as X.LOMI ed.2, X.MOG ed.1 and X.ONI ed.2. To highlight your bag, combine it with our characteristic keychains BALL’N’CHAIN ed.1 or BALLCHAIN SLING ed.1. Attached to the carabiner rings, they make an elegant and catchy strap.

Straps: Made of skin-friendly, vegetable-tanned leather with dyed edges. Detachable and adjustable in small steps. Maximum length: 110 cm.

Our straps are unique, the length will therefore vary by 1-2 cm. Since leather is a living material, your strap will eventually stretch over time and use.

Hardware: Our carabiner rings – everyday heroes – are easy to open and close. Designed to make each bag ultra-versatile and convertible.

Roomy enough for an 8'' tablet.

H: 23 cm
W: 29 cm

This item combines two types of leather that complement each other in texture and appearance:
Front: vegetable-tanned embossed cowhide
Back: pigmented smooth leather

The embossed cowhide gains its distinctive texture through embossing and/or foiling. Under heat and high pressure, the natural grain of the leather is compacted, resulting in a multi-stage finish with a distinctive, partly metallic sheen.

The pigmented smooth leather on the reverse side is known for its soft, supple surface and fine, even texture. The pigment coating provides light protection while allowing natural characteristics such as scars or insect bites to remain visible, underscoring the authenticity of the material. As leather is a natural product, it does not remain flawless but develops its own character over time. With use, the silhouette becomes softer, and a unique patina emerges.

We use only high-quality leathers. Nevertheless, both embossed and pigmented surfaces are sensitive to friction, moisture, and frequent use. Over time, the surface may change slightly, and the gloss or embossing may soften – a natural process that adds to the individual character of each bag.

To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:

  • Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for embossed and pigmented leathers. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
  • Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the embossed surface or remove the pigment coating.
  • Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – these factors may alter the finish or cause fading.
  • Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces: even minor scuffs can be visible on embossed or pigmented leather.
  • Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for pigmented or embossed leather; oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the finish.
  • Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly noticeable on lighter surfaces.
  • Avoid contact with light or delicate materials – slight colour transfer may occur when exposed to warmth, moisture, or friction.
  • For cleaning or visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
