Black metallic fringe bag SUNLIT ed.1 is based on the silhouette of our classic everyday bag MOONLIT ed.1 – but with a few liberties taken. Side fringes and fine knot details add texture and depth, giving the design a more relaxed, expressive feel. In its fringe version, the ultra-light, versatile everyday bag is reimagined. Inspired by the indie sleaze spirit of the 2010s, SUNLIT ed.1 brings that mood into the present: easy, slightly rough around the edges, and effortlessly cool. The fringes add movement and attitude – a look that’s not about being polished, but about having character. Unlined, lightweight, and easy to wear, it moves comfortably between crossbody and a soft croissant shape.
Interior: Unlined, with a zip closure.
Ways to wear: Can be worn short under the arm, at mid-length over the shoulder, or crossbody – thanks to an adjustable strap and openable carabiners. Without the strap, the bag folds into a relaxed croissant shape using the carabiner: reduced, flexible, and surprisingly versatile.
Combinations: Pairs well with smaller INA KENT styles and accessories, especially X.LOMI ed.2, X.LIO ed.1, X.ONI ed.2, X.MOG ed.1, IVIET ed.3–ed.5, CHARM ed.1–ed.4, and the signature BALL’N’CHAIN ed.1. Strap: Made from skin-friendly, vegetable-tanned leather with finished edges. Removable and adjustable in length.
Maximum length: 110 cm. As each strap is unique, length may vary slightly. Over time, the leather may soften and stretch naturally with wear.

Our naturally tanned leather is refined in a multi-stage process with an ultra-thin foil, creating its characteristic subtle metallic sheen. Depending on the finish, the surface may appear more even, or the natural structure and texture of the leather may become more pronounced.
This style features fringes made from open-cut leather. The edges and reverse side are intentionally left in their natural state to preserve the leather’s softness and freedom of movement. Light abrasion may occur as a natural result of this construction.
We use only high-quality foils. However, foiled leather surfaces are more delicate than untreated ones – the metallic or foil coating may change or wear off with friction, moisture, or frequent use. Over time, the surface may become slightly matte, the leather base may become more visible, and the shimmering finish may soften. These changes are inherent to the material and occur naturally over time.
To best protect your INA KENT bag, we recommend the following:
- Before first use, apply a small amount of a specialised leather care product suitable for delicate foil finishes. Repeat occasionally to maintain protection.
- Avoid pulling or bending the fringes. For best results, store the piece loosely and without pressure to preserve its shape.
- Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth – avoid vigorous rubbing or abrasion, as this may damage the foil.
- Avoid contact with water, excessive sunlight, or heat – such exposure may cause the foil coating to fade or loosen.
- Keep away from rough or abrasive surfaces, as even small scratches can be visible on foiled leather.
- Do not use conventional care products not specifically formulated for foiled or metallic leather – oils, waxes, or solvent-based sprays may damage the surface.
- Avoid contact with materials that may transfer colour pigments – this can be particularly noticeable on iridescent or two-tone finishes.
- For cleaning or in case of visible signs of wear, we recommend consulting a professional leather care specialist.
