Granted, where there’s suede, there’s usually a horse, and in the Year of the Horse, it would almost be rude to ignore that. So for episode one, we lean all the way in, inviting Olivia Axel Scheucher into a kind of Pippi Longstocking logic: a horse, a table, a picnic – less a setup, more a situation that politely declines structure and invents its own
Nine brand-new suede pieces (and a charm!) set the starting point for this collection – grounded in a material that knows exactly what it’s doing, and is all the more appealing for it: in its velvety softness, in the way it comes into its own with wear, and in its subtly headstrong kind of liveliness.
You notice it before you’d think to articulate it: our suede sits very close to the horse – visually, obviously, but in other ways too. Gingery Cognac and Dark Chocolate pick up on that exact warmth, settling into familiar styles that feel slightly loosened this time around: suede, fringe, knots, now also laces – everything a little more in motion, a little more relaxed, a little off. Add two new styles leaning into a hobo silhouette, and the rest plays out in the details.
Some of you may have already spotted him: our new charm – Deputy. Wherever there’s a horse, a Deputy tends to show up right on cue.
